How about Hal sending a random email to you? That would be weird (like me, lol)

It's actually incredibly easy to generate an e-mail with vbscript, but would you really want another spam bot on the web?

A few days ago I sent my Sandee[:X] to Australia along with couple skins.
Neil is using her in a program he's doing.  
Sunday I received an e-mail from Sandee.  (I'm sure with Neils help)
Anyway I thought it so cool to receive her e-mail on what she's experiencing. [;)]

Ah ha... I... like it!

It could be a plug-in with options to include various things in the email such as randoms, info from other HAL functions, Internet info, or just a plain-O... I miss you!

I got the idea from dusky. But I thought of the plug-in.

Too bad hal can't use perl as an e-mailer script can be done in just a few lines with perl. In VBScript it's not much more code if I remember correctly, but I can't seem to find any of my code when I was using vbscript with my webserver.

I'll get to the e-mail plug-in in a little bit, first I have to finish debugging 2_Deep.uhp, won't be long now.

I'll wait for your code then... it's usually much better than mine.

I was looking into how to integrate Hal into my VOIP so the lonely plugin would make her occasionally sent a text message or phone call to my cell phone.

Early versions of Hal used to check for and announce emails through the user's POP3 account. It would do this while the user was chatting instead of actually "Sending" the user an email.

All I know is that if my computer interrupts my day with an incoming email, it had better be important and NOT some schmuck selling me something! There's far too many of them as it is.
