When teaching Hal either by chatting or text files, does Hal put stuff in focus files - for example, when learning about weather does he put what he learns about it in focus15.brn ??? Or does it go into usertopic15.brn ??? Interesting stuff...

Well it seems like it would go into the user topic files, it is information gathered from the user not what hal already knows.

So when you put your hal on aim, he won't remember what he learned about the weather from you when he talks with someone new... There is a fix somewhere on this board that keeps every thing he's learned available to all other users... I'll have to look for it... Thanks!!!
