General Discussion / Re: Ultrahal 8.0
September 03, 2026, 03:01:31 PM
Right — here it is, plainly.

Hal7.uhp vs ultrahal8.uhp
Hal7.uhp   ultrahal8.uhp
Size   160,829 bytes   356,669 bytes
Lines   2,634   6,054
Functions/Subs   8   66
DB tables created   1   6
Response blocks   42   60
Comment lines   586   1,806
WordNet calls   4   21
CustomMem uses   24   38
Version stamp   none   2026.09.01.0638
Hal7's entire brain is 8 routines: UltraHal, GetResponse, DetectGibberish, SimpleYesNo, Minute_Timer, Script_Load, Script_Unload, AboutOptions.

What was added — 58 new functions
Fact learning & recall (9) — ExtractFact, ExtractHalFact, RecallFact, RecallAllFacts, RecallAllHalFacts, RenderFact, RenderHalFact, FactCount, FactValueOf
Hal stores what you tell him as structured facts instead of just pattern-matching the sentence.

Grammar / person handling (8) — SwapValuePerson, LooksLikeVerb, VerbBase, Deconjugate, Detense, SingularTail, IsPersonWord, NormalizeRelation
This is the reverse-person fix — "you like my ideas" no longer comes back as "I like my ideas".

Query coverage (6) — RelationStartingWith, RelationStartingWithIn, IsMemoryQuestion, TopicalQuestion, FactInsideQuestion, CuriosityGap
Longest-prefix matching, so more phrasings of the same question actually find the stored fact.

Pronouns & multi-clause (5) — ResolvePronoun, ClauseRemainder, CutAtClause, StripHedge, TrimFiller
He/she carry-over across sentences, and up to 4 facts pulled from one sentence.

Time awareness (7) — FactStamp, FactStampOf, FactTimeOf, OldestFactStamp, DescribeWhen, DescribeDuration, DescribeClock
Facts carry timestamps, so Hal can say when he learned something.

Emotion & consistency (10) — CurrentEmotion, RaisedTensions, FindContradiction, IsDenial, IsRetraction, IsDisagreement, IsGoodResponse, IsBadResponse, SaidRecently, WriteMoodFile

New tables (5): userFacts, halFacts, badResponse, goodResponse, raisedTensions

Biggest routines in Hal8: GetResponse 3,493 lines · UltraHal 336 · ExtractFact 214 · ExtractHalFact 109 · FindContradiction 68

Short version: Hal7 pattern-matches the conversation. Hal8 adds a grammar-aware memory layer on top of it — ~3,400 lines doing that one job.

RE: Lightspeed

Coming soon
My Dream Child
Ive added to many features to list here
New language: A complete rewrite in and up to date language
New Features:
New Geometry Engine  .GLB/.HTR
New Ultra Hal 8.0 brain
LLM Local learning, Hal evolves by using it, tested and confirmed.
GOES6 Satellite access
Streaming Radio

Hals reverse person PLUS the LLM which has its own Reverse Person code as well. Sorting all that out, well its just hard to quantify.
Robert and I are creating what i think is a master class in coding
Not to be seen anywhere else . Ultra Hal stands alone.

"quote"Isaac Asimov explored how machines might evolve past strict programming and learn from each other . (Issac we did it here. Hope we made you proud)
Pretty sure we did it first too

Ultra Hal 8.0

Hey hey Lighty:
These avatars are tied directly .
I am working on an avatar creator like people putty. But thats future
In the plus column , There are more then a couple engines that will create the base line avatar.
It will load any .glb file, and if the its pre animated, then yes it will work pretty awesome
https://www.daz3d.com/free-3d-models
Any of those models can be used , and yes u will be converting to.glb format using blender.
lotta work yet to do. Robert is up to his eye balls in life. But he will be joining the party when he can.

What a great posting:
Me personally: Im all about Ultrahals BLING. More toys to play with.
Lets break it down into 04 boxes.
Ultrahal drive by person.
UltraHal very serious person.
Ultrahal Sniper version
Ultrahal Shotgun version

Hal has the capacity to to be either, Broad knowledge or an expert system.
Hal allows for a blank brain, Train anything you want. very limited , very specific.
Requires time and effort on ur part. not coding though.Interaction

Drive by person: downloads it plays with it, gets bored , gives up. Quits
Ultrahal serious person: Looks beyond the obvious to what can be.

Ultrahal was over a decade ahead of its time.
There have been more then a few models released.

To this day Ultrahal is a serious contender in the AI world, are there better, stronger AI's out there. oh sure, but they all have something or another missing. No avatar, not local on ur machine. Filtered content ,ect ect ect always some thing missing. Ultrahal is the total package .
This is a real learning engine.
Rumor has it there another version in the works. Built on Ultra Hals architecture . From what i hear its a beast, including vision, local llm's of choice .

Hey brother, welcome aboard:

Thats a solid gimmie of a site ty.

I am re-writing some of Hal core components
Ultrahal will soon coming out of beta and will be listed as ultrahal 8.0 as an addon
Ive added many new features to ultrahal 7.5 which is freely available on the cover site for download. 7.5 beta
Ive added vision and ollama to Ultrahal's arsenal plus other features
Its in the testing phaze now, You will download ollama and install and Hal will access it giving Ultrahall his own LLM. Stored locally on your machine.  Keep in mind its dependent on your machine.
Im currently having issues with window 11. At the end of the day, turn off router and show me what you got.
Ultrahal still remains supreme, over all
It shows promise

CyberJedi's Ultra Hal Workshop / Long overdue
December 19, 2025, 02:04:35 PM
Guys/Gals

I do think its past time Hal has his own OS.
Im thinking win10 H22/Or ReactOS
This would be as an installer as such where when you installed win10, Hal would as part of win10 . Or ReactOS
An attempt to build a real time Javas
Hal installed with all his goodies an up grades,x10 for real smart home tech, vision the whole 09 yards.
Then changed into a OS installer(ISO)
LLM for LOCAL LLM models.
Be nice if Microsoft gave official permission for such.....

It would be the only one of its kind.......
As a standalone (air gap'ed) truly secure..... one machine dedicated to Hal. With his own cat6 and zwave/x10
Like ive all ways said, unplug your router and show me what you got

cyber jedi
Challenge #1  Hals input(voice systems) Hals input needs to be comparable to phones current.....
You generally
cannot use an Amazon Echo (Alexa) as a direct microphone for your PC because it's designed as a standalone device, not a PC peripheral, ((((((((((but you can use your PC's built-in mic with the Alexa for PC app for voice commands))))))))))), or use your Echo as a Bluetooth speaker for PC audio, though mic functionality remains limited. For a true PC mic, use the built-in mic or a dedicated USB mic, but leverage Alexa for PC (on supported Dell models or via alternative installs) for hands-free voice control on your computer

Challenge #2 LLM Local support(completed)

Challenge #3 Vision support (complete)
