auto sensing correction with manual override
« on: February 08, 2011, 12:02:27 pm »
this is just another idea i am thinking about and i don't know if their is any program out their that can even do this , but it would be good if their was an auto sensing program that would be able to go through our learned tables display the sentences and could detect the most obvious spelling in another words 4 or 5 letters was spelled correct (this is for when people hit an additional key and don't realize it example i had this pop up :Nothing is usually ebver as easy as anyone says it is. Notice the word ever is mispelled by one accidental key stroke .
of course a program like this would have to highlight the word and let the user manually correct it or let it go through as correct if it's something that the program falsely flagged as misspelled .

as i said i don't know what is feasable and or even possible i am only giving idea's that would be nice if they can work and or are possible .... so no ganging up on me now lol ! ;)

That would be nice. Another idea I would like to see implemented is a brain editor with a simplistic graphic interface to help casual users to create a custom brain for themselves. Something like symbols that would represent actions, and the owner can drag and drop the symbols in a flowchart design for Hal to process any input it is given. And the result is a tailored response / action that the owner is looking for.

For example, a parent who is looking to use Hal to entertain her child with story telling, and songs.
