Custom Characters? and other Q's

I been fiddling with getting Ultra Hal Assistant for some time now. Money is mostly the issue and I guess not knowing if the full on version is that much better (7 day trial of the full version would be nice). But   I guess one trivial thing that would have me sold on it is custome characters. I don't want some naked chick or hottie chick, I got a wife and that wouldn't blow over well. what I would like is a demon, more specfically the Balrog from LoTR or Darkness from Legend if someone could point to more resources on characters that would be grand.

As well I am planning on doing a lcd mod to my pc, and I would liek that to be the area Hal basically resides if I do this to my machine. Anyone know off the top of their head how to get that done?

First if you were to use just the "head" from a Haptek charcter then as far as I'm aware you can pretty much create any kind of character you feel like (your demon) using Hapteks brilliant "PeoplePutty" program.

As far as your case mod goes, I make a few spare change from doing case mods...and I would imagine that the simplist way to have "hal" in the lcd window would be to somehow to program/wire the lcd screen as a second monitor then you can choose to have Hal seperate from your main monitor.

Not something I've tried or been asked to do yet as all the lcd screens I've ever installed have actually been for a purpose (fan speed/temp settings/lights etc).

Anyone else any further thoughts/ideas?

As far as the brain of HAL is concerned the full version is exactly  the same as the free version.
