hal custom brain area needs fixing
« on: September 01, 2024, 02:23:01 pm »
i went to open up my custom brain through the brain editor and it won't open up and then after a while just opens the brain debug area . so i can't check on what went into the brain or correct anything that needs correcting or deleting etc. mike can you fix this problem so peoples custom brain will show up like it used to do in hal??
here is what is showing up. i'll also try debug txt file on here .

i didn't add the debug file because i had to leave and shut down the pc and now the file would be different .i believe art showed another way of another program to open the custom brain file , but it would be nice if it worked as originally before  when we could just choose the custom brain file and it opened allowing the user to make edited changes etc.

You are correct Lonnie,

Robert Medeksza told me quite a few years ago that anytime one creates or uses a custom brain for HAL, (other than Hal's default brain), then one needs to use an alternative program that supports HAL's database format like SqLiteStudio. True it does have a somewhat steeper learning curve but with some nosing around, one can discover all those hidden Tables with it that simply didn't appear in the standard Brain Editor of Ultra Hal.

That was the whole issue...that some Tables that we know should have been viewable were not showing in the Editor at all!
As soon as we switched to the SqLiteStudio, bingo! All of those missing tables were present and full of data!

It might be a tall order for Cyber to craft a custom Database Manager or find a way to edit Hal's Brain Editor so that it would finally show those missing Tables.

You always come up with the great ideas! No doubts there!!
In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

All things are doable: Its ultraHal

But , id like to do this in a more controlled environment.
Lets Build a white board, with a wish list.
Ya know it occurs to me that a few senior members have access to a Private area. maybe there a great spot.

While i just love the member's and all they bring to the table, maybe an open forum is not the place.
I will let you decide, set it up and i will play. Maybe a poll would help?

the private area sounds good to me , if others don't mind . just say for sure what you want to do.

If a newcomer or recent member has what might be a really good idea, he or she will have to contact someone who has access to that Private Area?

Ahhh hey guys: Heres the issue.
I dont wana keep people out of the loop, but how do we keep the topic from being polluted.

Hell i like the idea of e1 having access.

Thats my only issue , lets just setup a board and see what happens
To the people in the KNOW. i said years ago about Hals BLING, Now here we are.
While sounding stern, i only mean this: To keep people in here we gotta do something special. BioMetrics was a great start. But more is needed

Well, for the time being, I still have the position/job as Moderator. It is what I have been doing for many years. I separate the grain from the chaff.

If anyone enters and aims to cause trouble or post some nonsense or BS, then they will soon find themselves looking in from the outside. It's kind of standing soaking wet in that dark alley in the pouring rain wondering what happened...

You have been warned... :o

i asked pi and this is what was said, does this sound right/ WANTED TO RUN IT BY CYBER FIRST. ABOUT THE QT LIBRARY INCAPATABLE PROBLEM.

in sqlite program what does the error : multiedirorialimage .dll uses incompatable qt library
The error message "multiedirorialimage.dll uses an incompatible Qt library" suggests that there is a conflict between the Qt library used by the SQLite program and the one used by the multiedirorialimage.dll file. 💻🔗 Qt is a software development framework used for building graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and cross-platform applications, and different versions of Qt may not be compatible with each other.
To resolve this error, you may need to update the Qt library used by SQLite or multiedirorialimage.dll to a compatible version, or alternatively, you may need to find a different version of multiedirorialimage.dll that is compatible with the Qt library used by SQLite. It's important to be cautious when downloading and installing DLL files from the internet, as they can sometimes contain malware or other security risks.
how can i fix it inmy computer windows 10.
Here are some steps you can try to fix the "multiedirorialimage.dll uses an incompatible Qt library" error on your Windows 10 computer:
Uninstall and reinstall the SQLite program. This can help resolve any issues with conflicting libraries or dependencies.
Update the Qt library on your computer. You can download the latest version of Qt from the official website and install it on your system.
Search for a compatible version of multiedirorialimage.dll online. Be sure to download DLL files only from reputable sources to avoid security risks.
Use a dependency walker tool to identify which specific version of the Qt library is required by multiedirorialimage.dll, and then install that version on your system.
If none of these steps work, you may need to contact the developer of the SQLite program or multiedirorialimage.dll for further assistance.
can you give me a link for qtwindows 10 library ?
Sure, here are some links to download the Qt library for Windows 10:
Official Qt download page: <https://www.qt.io/download-qt-installer>
Qt for Windows - Qt 5.15: <https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/windows-requirements.html>
Quick Start: Installing Qt on Windows: <https://wiki.qt.io/Quick_Start_for_Windows>
Install Qt Creator on Windows: <https://web.stanford.edu/dept/cs_edu/resources/install_qt_creator_windows>
Keep in mind that the installation process may vary depending on the version of Qt you download and your specific system configuration, so be sure to follow the instructions provided by the installer carefully.
