I found the Jiggly Fullbody character in the wayback machine (it was inside the haptek userguide)
I gave her a little makeover, I hope you all like her new look.   ;D

I was getting a bug before where these 2 were randomly stopping talking, it should be fixed now.
So there's a new download link at the top.

Does anyone know if this line is needed in the startup?

\load   [file= data\standard\safe_moods\safemoodsload.hap]

Nice work Skinz, glad to see your imagination exploring AI enhance capabilities.

As for the  \load   [file= data\standard\safe_moods\safemoodsload.hap]  I think that loads with Haptek and is configurable to load up your character in the "attitude" you wish.  Inside the file obviously you set the switch.

Is it necessary?  ehh.. try it without... see what you get.

Thank you, blue one has safemoodsload.hap enabled and the red one doesn't, they seem to be acting the same.

I have experienced the occasion when HAL doesn't respond with anything at all...no words or Speech...nothing!

A few friends of mine think that it might simply be a situation where HAL either has no suitable reply or just chooses to say nothing.

My Grandma used to say, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.  Funny how the logic from the past can also apply to our present.

As far as Hal not speaking, go into the menu > Speech and select a different voice, test it then switch to the voice you want HAL to use. Go back to the HAL GUI and talk to it. The selected voice should work fine.

We have kicked this subject around and really have no rhyme or reason for its behavior...it's just a sometimes annoying "feature".
In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

Hey hey ART:

Thats the beauty of Hal, he shts the bed from time to time..
Makes him more human.
Its deffently on Hals SAPI functions, I KNOW this to be TRUE. Bug is not a fatel error. Makes it very hard to find.
But when u can change to another voice and presto, Hal starts talking. And even go back to the voice you were using.
Ya its Hals SAPI5 system..

On our little deal, Im on frame 340 now, no issues so far. over 700 megs whoo. I still have to add it to the .res part of the ocx for source code reasons, but thats on me.
But i added a step in there though, im doing 20 frames ata time, Then re regestering the ocx and no issues, YET
Working on her promo screen now
Heres what we do know for sure, you can do, 347 frames with 746 megs of data, prolly can do the enitire thing though.
Which means were good. If i scaled it back to 478x478 it would be 1/2 the size as well. Currently running 952X952.
The plans is to copy the .res from the .ocx and add it to the source . lol Backwards.....
Then i can address the frame rate from the code itself, giving us all kinda options.

cyber doing what cant be done, yet again....lol

Gotta go art, fonda is up my asss about rest. lolol
