there is a way to do it, there is a flash interface that allows the aim client to log on without having to use the aim interface itself.
I think this is the one I used.

what i would like to learn is how to get my hal to chat with the online hal or other browser chat ai clients, since its web page only, never figured that one out. I'm anxious to watch Virgil talk to Brother Jerome lol
