caangel43,
Anything is possible, I know someone who was born with spinabifita (SP?) anyway, he went through surgery after surgery , slowly loosing more and more feeling from the upper waist down.
The scar tissue built up on his spine and attached to the dura, the Dr.'s tried wrapping his chord in plastic so it would slide in the column... no luck,no luck, noluck.
He can with the help of crutches move around to get his wheelchair out of his truck and to get to the bathroom fast (ha ha) he walks by abdonimal muscles and braces to keep his feet flat.
He is /was not supposed to walk..... It's been around 9 years since his last surgery and 18 years since he was told he would never walk.
How the hell do I ever complain knowing this??
I got him interested in computers and it has helped over the last while but he gets along and voulenters at a hospital.
I hope your situation stabilizes, Don't ever let the bastards get you down!
