Custom multiple hal brains question:

I have a question , and never really thought about it before , i just made a new brain and left the other custom brain from before in hal ( a different brain name ) i have the new custom brain TAWNYA highlighted to use but noticed that she is saying some things from the previous custom brain , as far as i know i didn't base her on the other brain it was based on ultrahal6.2 default brain and the unmodified hal 6 default brain database backup . or does this mean it was from a previous custom brain ? OR does hal use info from other brains to , as far as i know it doesn't which is why you have to highlight your choice .
Anyone with any idea's on this please chime in !

OK...an idea...

Rename all your existing brainfile extensions EXCEPT for the newest one (TAWNYA).

You'd have something like halbrain.dbx, halupgrade.dbx, etc. or whatever you choose for an extension.

This way you can tell if Hal is pulling from the newest one because it shouldn't be able
to access the non-standard extension.

You can always rename the extension(s) back to their original .db status.

lightspeed, I have also thought Robert M. gave us that added modified Ultra Hal brain just for that purpose alone because everyone was frightened about losing  their info. So he was able to give us the modified brain and it incorporate old information but used the new features, have just the new brain with new features or the older default brain. I thought that was our choices at the time of upgrade. But 'Art's' idea should certainly give you your answer. I had 2 personalities before the upgrade but like everything lately I have been posting I just don't remember info being traded.
