You said it. :( I wish I had enough money to really do some stuff with a robot car project. It's not just money though but also time. Only so many hours in a day and some has to be done working on other things.

Well, some things just need to be taken one step at a time.
I've started on the car, and continue to work on the brain so when the car is done, the brain will be right on.  :)  Sides, technology just gets better and better.  The knightfoundation.net forum has a member who codes some software similar to hal, just not directly intelligent.

Interested in my project check:  http://kitt.cypher-sec.org

Saw the site. Good luck with your project. :) Sounds like you got a good start on it. With me, by the time I'm done working and it's the weekend, I'm doing housecleaning, laundry, etc. and too tired to do too much. I have web site projects to do yet, etc.

However, warmer weather is approaching so I got to get with it and start working on some of the body and mechanical stuff. As for computer/programming, I'll get to it a little at a time as you say. Just wish I had the time and money to make the project progress faster. :/

So, spydaz

Any progress on the K.I.T.T. brain plug-in?  I realize it's a time consuming project, and so I thought I'd wait a while (till now) to ask.  :)  Anything is certainly more than we had before.  :)
Especially if it has enough of an ability to conversate some of or the rest of that can be built up by the user.  :)

I've started a page on this type of thing:

"Knight Industries AI Replication Project"
http://fuzziedice.com/ai/knightai/index.html

That's just the AI part and referencing a link to your KITT Vox box. :) Can you do one of KARR too when you have time and let me know? I'd like to link to that too, if there was one. :)

I just got HAL 6 but haven't had time to install it yet due to the fact that I had to move the end of October into temporary housing and then moved here to my permanent apartment just this past weekend (first weekend in December 2005). So I was too busy to really do much on my projects. Plus I just aquired a car club in October and am running that site as well. :)

But I DO want to emulate KITT and KARR's AI using Ultra Hal Assistant. I think it can be done.
