Changes: GetResponse Array Variables.

If you have already generated the LearnedText.uhp then the update will continue to use the learned text you already taught it and will continue to append to that file, nothing needs to be changed.

Just drop the updated LearnFromClipBoard.uhp into your Ultra Hal Assistant 6 folder and over write the old one, then refresh your plugin cache by reselecting the Learn From Clip Board from your brains plugin options and it should be ready to go.

Download below.
---------------------------
Here is my new featured Plug.

Learn From Clip Board.

This Plug allows your Bot to learn all information that is copied to the clip board for future responses, All info is gathered, formatted and saved in the LearnText.brn, You can read about this when you select the plugin from your Brain options plug panel.

Example:
I copied some interesting stories into my windows clip board for starters, Then.

User: Learn From Clip Board.
ALF: I have learned all information from Windows Clip Board, Thanks.

in the future, If HAL see's the learned info as a response then it will be used as a response.

I kept all learned information outside the Database for easy editing if one desires to do it manually within the LearnText.brn in the Ultra Hal Assistant 6 folder.

This plug formats the info immediately to the LearnText.brn so there is no waiting at all, you can immediately copy more info and repeat with whatever info you like your bot to learn.

This is an upgrade to all learn from text file scripts and or plugs and is intended to replace all learn from text file learning.

I spent a lot of time getting this to you all.

Unzip the file to your Ultra Hal assistant 6 folder.

I get script errors when I try to run this plugin. Does it work correctly with the hal6 default brain or do I need another brain file?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / learn from text file

I seem to be having the same problems.  It tells me it has indexed the file and all but when you try to load the file it says the file has not been indexed.

I have tried putting the file in 3 different directories all with the same results.

Hal pops up every minute or two with learning on, will even open the text file, but will not create any tables in the brain or new files in the hal directory.

So, no update on this?  I really would love the learn from text to work for me.  [:(]

That would be great!  I wanted to keep my tables like you but lol I just don't have enough memory in my PC right now to even load some of them fully.  Gets real fun, especially when I try to do any video editing.  [:D]

Let me know if you need it I may be able to set up a FTP account on one of my servers that you could upload to.

Thanks again,
Tanshin

Go to the properties of Hal's shortcut in your startup folder by clicking on start, programs, startup, right clicking on Hal's icon, and selecting properties. Then change the target property from:
Code: [Select]
"C:Program FilesabawareUltra Hal Assistant 6HalAsst.exe" -startupto:
Code: [Select]
"C:Program FilesabawareUltra Hal Assistant 6HalAsst.exe" -startup <showhal>Basically just add "<showhal>" to the end of the textbox.

Perfect!  My hats off to you again Mr. Medeksza.  [:D]

LOL I should have been clearer with my message, sorry about that.

I do have it in my startup menu and it loads the program with windows, that all works fine.

You know how when you click the icon and the character/skin display on the screen, is there a way to have this action happen when the program loads without having to click the taskbar icon?

Hope I cleared up what I am trying to do.  [:)]

So, not to seem in a rush, but I take it there is no way?  Or is it just so obvious that I can't figure it out?

Is there a way to make the user interface open when hal starts up instead of minimizing to the taskbar?  I think you could do it with the version 5 brain but don't know how for version 6.  Any input would be great.

Ok, I added a new event.  Everything looks good.  Shut down hal and restarted, event is still there.  Maybe it will stay for good?

Can someone send/post me a list of the default events and their reminder settings for each?  Then I can try to add them all again manually.  It's the only thing I can think to do.

Or... Maybe just the event name and the number that follows?  Could I just add them to the "UserEvents" table?  That sure would be quicker.
