Constatine,
  I became interested in Kari after it was updated and was thinking of purchasing it to see if some things could be used in Hal. After doing some reading I'd gotten the impression this couldn't be done so I didn't purchase it. I've heard quite a few good things about Kari but I haven't heard anyone using features from Kari in Hal, possibly it's illegal to do this.
