Im testing this enhanced brain.
It seems to work pretty wel.
I notice that when Hall is reading a text, it does not use this new ability. This seems to be only used while chatting with Hall.

I had this problem with version 4.5
Since the version 5, i haven't this problem anymore
Maybe try to install first Hall 4.5 and the install version 5
It is just a guess

Save the folder in "program files".
Reformat your pc ...
Reinstall Hall
Put the folder back and it will be ok.
In fact only the *brn and *dat files matter.

I finally found that the freeze is caused by the 3d characters.
After disabling them, Hal does work properly

I am unable to find more details about the freeze.

I will now test Hal more deeply

I have downloaded Ultra Hall Assistant and installed it.
When i try to open it, it freeze my computer. Then, my only one solution is to perform and hard reset [!]
I use a Windows XP professional, international version.

Has anyone an idea ?
