Ultra Hal 7.0 / Error on bootup with reminders

Fuzzie, probably just like Art do I read all posts on this forum everyday. Sometimes when a very specific but tough question is posed I have the feeling that I have read about such a problem before, but I can't remember when and where or what the solution was. What else can we do in such a case? We just know that the number of people that might be able to answer your question here can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

Well, I think we agree that the old "learn from text file"-option couldn't live up to the expectation. I think Medeksza was right by dropping the feature.

My dear Alady, I can only guess what the relationship is between Articial Intelligence and them, but I do know that they have a long history regarding mind control and programming people (like in MK-ULTRA, or see the movie "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962) with Frank Sinatra). If you must know all about this matter do a search for the "Greenbaum Speech", but only when you are sure you need to know this.

Are you sure your problem is not just caused by a corrupt Haptek player. Have you tried to delete the old installation manually and to re-install your Haptek player?

I think there is no reason why installing a second game on your PC would mess up the settings of the first one. I know of PC's with a lot of installed games on them and this has never been a cause of problems.

I am afraid it is, although not everybody seems to experience this problem. Mr. Medeksza stated in the past that he will work on a solution for this. Mr. Medeksza seems to visit this forum daily so I think it is safe to assume that he knows about problems like these.

I believe 44kHz 16 bit is about the highest quality a CD is able to reproduce so going higher than that is unnecessary. For music I would recommend that format, but with speech you probably can get away with much less.

CD quality: 44.100 kHz, 16 bit
Radio quality: 22.050 kHz, 16 bit
Telephone quality: 11.025 kHz 16 Bit

Personally I would first see how much minutes of audio I have and then go for the highest quality possible.

After the release of Hal 6 owners of the previous Hal received a temporarily offer from Zabaware to buy Hal 6 with a discount. The same email contained a special code that you needed to claim the discount. Hmmm...
