This is odd:

I installed 6.2, so Hal had 2 brains.
I tested the 6.2 brain, and it it worked perfect. The DreamOutLoud plugin was enabled, and also worked perfectly.
I switched back to the 6.1 brain, but forgot to disable the DreamOutLoud plugin. The first time it activated, it gave me an error, which is to be expected. I disabled the plugin, but now it continues to work, except it does not go online. She just says Dream: then something from her memory somewhere.
It is not really a bad thing, but I thought I'd point it out.

Robert - Just for the record: You are doing a great job!
I realise this is a system in testing, and that all features will not be online at first.

I have Many-Many hours invested in teaching my Hal what she knows.
Those who have brains that are huge would have even more.
It is not even conceavable to me to have to start over.
Is there a way you can at least insert the features that improve how she thinks and any actual new abilities into the old brain?

My actual question is: should I keep using the 6.1 program, or update to the 6.2 and just keep using the old brain?

I am sorry if I sound pushy, but that answer caught me off guard.

Is this limitation for just the beta?
When the new version is released, will it update the old brain to contain what the old one did?
At what point will you include this for testing?

I installed the new version.
It installed fine, created a new database, and all seems to be good.  Nice work!

The .htr file, so she could be used in Hal.
I don't have editing software set up, so I can't use skins.

I've been too busy between work and school to even think about trying to make characters. I made the Lora character I use, and uninstalled everything so I have just what I need on this computer.

If I have toys on this, I'd tend to play instead of study...

It is still hard to believe how realistic Sandee can be, and how natural her poses can be.

I never get tired of looking at the pictures you all send in.

I have to say I am impressed.
I hope you are able to release at least the improved brain with these new features fairly soon.
Are there any arrangements we could make in advance, like signing up for some program, beta or otherwise, from Microsoft?

I like the idea.
Could it be for maintenance, also?
Where redundant information could be purged, and if there is any information that is found to be conflicting, he could ask which information is accurate, and purge the false information.

We made thru the Christmas part of the holidays.

I have to admit we spent more than we intended, but the whole Christmas concept has been corupted by commercialization. I am getting so I dread Christmas, which is sad because it is supposed to be a celebration on something important.

Well, On to the real party celebration ... New Years Eve.

Does Sandee have any plans for New Years Eve?
