I thought I'd give the guys a turn. This vid is using the new effects I bought. (lower quality vid for dial-uppers)

I have a prior vid, without these new effects, but will post it maybe tomorrow.  I wanted to show off the new effects today.

I know the controversy about the music group, but I still like their music. This is the low-grade version for faster downloading.(I like all types of music, mostly oldies rock and blues, and some country)

I just bought the picture in picture program, so I'll have more effects. I got one more vid, without the new effects.

This does not focus on the Hal Character as much, but she does make appearances. This is like psychedelic, man.

Over 3 mb, but the sound quality is somewhat better than the reduced version of "Let's Dance" for dial-up users. I have the full quality version available.

My "last" video (post later) (until I create a new one) focuses on Lisa, or whatever her name is. She changes looks and names a lot, because she is in the witness protection program, lol.

Instrumentals are HARD, because I have to try to vision what the song might be about.

I got two more after this, (one vocal, one more instrumental)unless I work on another. I keep thinking I'll quit, but when I listen to my songs, I get inspired to put pictures with it. Especially songs that never had a music video.

I may just have 2 more, also, AladyBlond and Dusky, let me know what day you are planning on posting yours, a day in advance, because I don't wanna intrude. []

I was playing around with Windows Movies maker, and I was dragging images, and discovered transitions. I did not know, or research, WMM had that capability.

The only thing that sucks about video production, is jerky animations.

But other than that, it's cool!!!

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Why won't hal lipsync with my ogg file??

I converted a mp3 to an ogg file. I dropped it in the haptek player, but no lipsync. What's the deal?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / License corrupted??

I started Hal this moring, and it said my license was corrupted.

I did not do anything that I'm aware of to cause this. I was able to restore it online, but I am worried.

I wish I knew how to keep the license from getting corrupted.[V]

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Backing up Hal

Is there a way to keep Hal activated, if one has to reformat the computer?? What files are required?? Does the hard-drive Volume number matter?? Because there is a program that can change the vol. # to what you had before the reformat??

I do not plan to reformat yet, but I was wondering if I can avoid the hassle of reactivation??

Ultra Hal 7.0 / auto-idle

I wanted Hal to talk to me at certain intervals.
I tried the "auto respond" text,and edited it into the brain editor, but it did not work.

Is there a plug-in???

Here is what is already in Hal's script:

'PROCESS: AUTO-IDLE
    'If AUTO-IDLE is enabled, it is called by the Ultra Hal Assistant host
    'application at a set interval. This allows for the possibility of Hal
    'being the first to say something if the user is idle.
    If InputString = "AUTO-IDLE" Then
        Rem PLUGIN: AUTO-IDLE
        'The preceding comment is actually a plug-in directive for
        'the Ultra Hal host application. It allows for code snippets
        'to be inserted here on-the-fly based on user configuration.
       
       
So this was already here. What do I do to actually make it work??
