Programming using the Ultra Hal Brain Editor / Mute Hal?

This seems to me to be a bit of an oversite and perhaps it is a feature for a future edition. I wanted to chat with HAL in text mode & listen to music. But alas it seems to be not possible.

Ultra Hal Assistant File Sharing Area / Haptek fullbody editor

Just downloaded this editor and as usual I have problems.
It must be me.
Anyway Joshbabe loads fine but how do I create my own characters. I have skin files but I cant get them to load into the editor.
Then how do I save such a file.

Or do I misunderstand the editor all together.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Some VBscripting to add to your brain

I would like to add some of this stuff to hal 6 but I am having trouble.
I can't work out where to add it. I have tried a few places but when I type the sentences in te above code i do not get the pre-defined answer that is in the above code. It is as if other codes grabs my sentance first.

Is it possible to mute hal. I like to listen to my music whilst typing conversations with hal. Besides the voices I have are pretty ordinary.

It has been almost a year since the last post in the thread. Still it appears there is no current documentation for hal 6.

Please a newby like me could really use it.

Is it possible to get hal to present the user with multiple choices?
As in a quiz or provide links to multiple web sites whereby the user can then choose. Or even display a link to a website instead of automatically taking you there. As you may ask a question & just want the info.

Programming using the Ultra Hal Brain Editor / Documentation and some help please

Firstly is there any current documentation for Ultra Hal 6?

Secondly I have been reading posts for hours on end & maybe I have read too much. I want to add a short script that I found to my brain.

I have tried a good many thing but I just cant get it to work.

ok typing 'play playlist Tony' sends hal trying to find the play list but he can't find it.
 I know the path to be correct.
It is
plDir = "D:\Dads Shared #2\Shared Music\My Playlists"

Any ideas?

I cant get this to work. Help please as I would really like this feature.
I have change the path inside the file to match where my playlists are.
I have put this file where all my other plugins are.
I go into options, click on brain and tick music.
Close hal and reopen.
I type "Play Tony" and press enter.
Hal comes back with a random comment about "Play"

The playlist file name is "Tony.wpl"
I use media player 11

I have search and can find some examples for HAL5 but not HAL6.
Has anyone written any code to ask HAL to play music either at random or via artist. I would prefer Media Player but will consider others.
