To make a new "User Name," go to Ultra Hal's "options" menu, and click on the "general" tab. You will see places in which you can type a different name for yourself, and a different name for Hal if you wish.
If people talk to Hal using different names, Hal will associate some of his learning with those names. In other words, Hal's "personality" and "memories" will eventually differ depending on which name that you are using at any particular time. You can use as many different names as you wish.
