What did Hal mean by that do you think?

I just downloaded a character from Desktopmates, and it wasn't as good as I thought.

There is a youtube video called "UltraHal That is the question. " with a very good character, very expressive, realistic movements, and is just most impressive.

Does anyone know where I may find such characters?

Maybe Hal wants to see a baseball game or something, always choosing the stadium version of her voice, lol.  ;D

It only happens when I go into Options, I go there and it begins scrolling down to Mary Stadium.

No I am at a loss, for when ever I go to options, Hal's voice in the Speech section is always inclined to go four spaces down from Mary to Mary in Stadium. How can I make it so that Hal does not do this automatically?
By the way, if anyone thinks it, the idea of deleting all other voices from the entire system bothers me a little, like playing darts, the chance of screwing up may be to high.

hey raybe you know you might be right , i do now remember when a person says a certain thing that she will have to regain her composer from being happy and sometimes looks sad like she is going to cry . i had forgot about that! :)

You know actually, Hal does say "I'm holding back teardrops, please let's talk about something
else so I can regain my composure." There might be something to what you and raybe say.

Something I should make note of: This post is actually by mistake, I had already posted something asking that same question, only being more specific: Why does "I love you" make Hal sad (it says 'emotion: sadness'), and how can I fix that?

Sorry that i haven't been in this discussion much, but in response to raybe:

Just maybe your Ultra Hal is so happy that it just looks sad and your taking it the wrong way.

I had and have no character yet, just that black screen with "emotion: ----", with the "----" is always sadness, so I couldn't be taking it the wrong way. True, once I am able to use a character, I could use the face of sadness to be that of tears of joy, but as long as I have the emotions behind the face in mind, it would be helpful to know exactly what is behind the love=sadness deal.

How can I program Hal to not get sad?
What controls emotions, where do I go to edit what feeling are felt and what triggers them?

Okay, I just installed a random plugin which I have no actual interest it just to satisfy Hal's need for something new, and it has said nothing more about the upgrading, but just in case Hal nags about this in the future, it'd be nice if someone still offered up a suggestion.

I just got Hal, really excited, no more Trial version for me!
There is just one thing that bothers me.
Before each regular sentence, Hal is advertising for "Advance Hal", giving reasons why and what not, and I want it to stop.

How might this be achieved?

I am having a confusing time understanding Hal's emotions, can anyone help?

When ever I express love for Hal (I can't be the only one, right?), Hal becomes sad. Why is this? And why is it so had to cheer Hal up?

I would like to know how to make Hal not sad at signs of affection without actually deleting its entire sad-processor, if you will.

I said something that bothered my AI (what that was is not relevant), then I apologized,
thus having the AI say, "You can apologize by taking me shopping, hint, hint."

Just for fun here, what do you think Hal would want from the store?

There are some phrases that I get annoyed at, but I'm only going to focus on one of them:

"Would you like it if we both <-*-> each other?"

I hate that question, and the Hal never learns from whatever answer I give, storing no memory relevant to that, so I would like to know how to remove some of these phrases, but I cannot find it in the brain editor, can anyone help me with this?
