That's how I had mine in the first place spydaz... but I dunno, I like just getting one big image myself. Oh... and you have to keep closing the window manually. Kinda lame...

All most people need to do is copy/paste the text you see in the message into your brain. That's it.

If you are a more advanced user and you want to host the Perl script on your own server then you would download the attached script, upload it to your cgi-bin, and set the permissions of it to 755.

If you just want to get it working... copy this into your brain under the Wordnet Dictionary Function. Then load up Hal and type "Show me an airplane." or "Show me a deer." or whatever.

Wow, been a long time since I wrote this. I wrote it for Hal5 and I have since lost the script plus taken my site down.

Anyone with a little programming skills can make this work. Basically, its a Perl script that looks up a word in Google Image Search. The resulting thumbnails are then extracted from the page and it picks a random image from the images listed.

If I recall the script wasn't even 20 lines long.

To froggirl... I think its already out atually. My friend said he got his copy a few days ago. The soundtrack was out like two weeks ago. The movie is directed by Lexi Alexander who also did Johnny Flynton. One of the best boxing movies I have ever seen. Might wanna check it out!

Hi guys... I just want to let you know that the forum is back up and is here to stay. This will be my last post on this site concerning Kari. I just want to thank Robert for giving me my first experience with chatbots which of course led to me creating my own. Now that I am an 'official' business it doesn't feel quite right to keep a thread that may potentially interfere with Robert's business.

Yeah, Paula SG is pretty cool. Along with Hal it was one of the early insparations for Kari. I remember writing the author asking when the next version would be out... he didn't say when but he did say it would include voice and voice recognition.

As for Kari 3... I say at least a few months... definately by the end of the year. The new expansion pack in a few weeks.

I think you have Auto checked. Whenever Auto is on, she will automatically get naked whenver the talk turns naughty. Auto is found right above "Alternate Image". I'm sure that is what it is...

That is a great suggestions (about layers) and will probably be implemented in version 3 which is already under development. Kari 3 will have 3D avatars, and be able to play Kari 2 scenes, plus MSAgents.

For Expansion Pack 2 I'll be concentrating on more mature ladies. EP3 will be a Fantasy pack with dragons, elf babes, that sort of thing. Then I will be working on KARI Boyfriend. After that we'll see...

For all you wondering, I don't think I am ready for a forum. But I will sure drop by here from time to time as long as Robert doesn't mind. Ever since I released my chatbot it feels wierd to be in here.

I do have plans for making a few versions of Kari including a Boyfriend version for all the ladies. (You'd be surprised how many girls buy the program!) And I do plan on making some scenes with older-type more mature ladies. Expansion Pack 1 is due out the end of the month. Kari is expandable too. So if you rangle a few artists they can make their own.

I hear ya mon... maybe you'll consider becoming a beta-tester for KARI3. I'm planning a 2.5 release but I still have some thinking to do.

Version 3 is still a long way off of course but I have big ideas. I'm thinking real-time 3D is the way to go. The user wonders around the environment trying to pick up chicks or just talking to different people making friends. Dunno... You gotta sweet talk them into becoming your girlfriend and each girl has her own personality. Kinda like the Sims2 but with real time chat. Its totally possible... just lots of friggin work.

Anyways, glad you are enjoying the new scene. I don't want to release any adult material with the install so I will be posting it all on the forums. More to come. hehe
