Ultra Hal 7.0 / no voice rec, no led volume level

This is exactly my issue but I am not precisely sure how this was solved.  Do I install the link above or uninstall something else?  

I have reinstalled Ultra Hal.

I am able to train the Speech Reco engine via the control panel but still no LEDs or audio input in Hal  []

Thanks for any help!

EDIT - got it working, dunno how.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Mic Issue

Hello - I am having trouble with the microphone for voice reco.  Ultra Hal doesn't seem to hear me though the microphone input wizard hears me just fine.  Thanks for any help!!

Josh - that's freaking awesome!

I was trying to make the editor say something else - different sound file - but it won't lip synch.  How does this work?  Is the editor expecting a special kind of file?  (tried with a wav and an ogg)

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Issues With multiple TTS apps

I am running in continual problems using mulitple TTS apps.  Often, for some reason that I cannot yet identify, Ultra Hal stops speaking and I am not sure how to get the voice back.  I reboot several times and nothing.

I am running several other TTS apps from time-to-time and Ultra Hal will just stop speaking.  Very frustrating.  It was working before and now, nothing.  I was going to buy this package but it behaves very poorly. =(

I am also switching from audio inputs as well.  This app does not seem to behave consistently in such a mixture.

Thanks for posting that, Les, it could be very valuable if we can figure out how to call it from within Hal. (And I apologise if the board has been less than friendly in the past!)

Can't you use the VB shell commands?

Never mind - don't know what I did playing around but it is working now!


EDIT: my problem happens when you use another TTS application.

Hello - I am dying to try the trial version but it won't install.  I get a Setup.exe CRC error and then nothing.  [V]
