2  install MSVCRT 8.0 SP1

3  install Hal then install HalVisionX-XP Software

Installing MSVCRT 8.0 SP1 fixed Windows XP PRO SP3 for me HalvisionX-XP

works now.

Snowman I think this is the problem for XP. Just trying to help.
