Added responses that pertain to what side of the Equator the season is in to all responses within this Plug.
Here is a Plug-in script I wrote for HAL that will allow HAL to determine the seasons of the year.
If you ask HAL something like this:
User: What season is it?
Hal: I believe it's Fall time.
This script will give an approximate season accordingly to what month it is and there are several keyword statements that will trigger the response including some trick type statements where a user may know its fall but may ask if it's summer, Hal will calculate if it's summer but will give the correct season for the response: No, It is Fall Time. If it is fall.
I wrote this script in dedication to last years Chatterbox Challenge contest and was extracted from my Brain called Classified.uhp which is being developed for the sole purpose of winning the contest in the name of HAL and is based off of last years questions from the 2006 contest.
This script can also be developed further for greater accuracy.
You can unzip the DetermineTheSeason.zip to your Ultra Hal Assistant 6 Folder and select Determine The Season plug from your Brain options.
