Upgrade Problem

I just bought a new computer and installed version 6.0. I then downloaded version 6.2 and registered on-line.

Hal keeps pestering me with the following statements; "If you upgrade to the advanced version of Hal, I will have speech recognition, meaning you can speak to me out loud. But, wait, you haven't heard the end". He also keeps asking me if I clicked on the upgrade button yet? and makes the statement "The advanced version of Hal has an additional 20 different animated characters to choose from."
I paid for and registered HAL but something is wrong.
What can I do to eliminate these annoying statements?

My problem was solved with a reboot...so simple.[:I]
Now HALs lips do not move.[:(]

What TTS voice(s) are you using?

Have you purchased the Character Expansion Pack?
(That's how you get more character heads).

I was using the "Adult Female #1 British English (LH).
Now I am now using the Microsoft Ana SAPI 5 voice and the lips now sync.
That problem was solved.
Now I can't get the window size maximized. In the general options the Max Size radio button is selected.

I am using the large character skin selected at maximum but it will not get any larger than 125%
