Charlie Chaplin

In my opinion, Chaplin was one of the most talented and funniest entertainers that ever lived. I wanted to make a putty head of him, but could only find black & white photos. So i did some playing around with an "old photo" filter in Paint Shop Pro, and came up with this head. People Putty doesn't have the trademark Chaplin hat, so i did the best i could. Hope someone might like him.



Oh, in case anyone is interested, this is what i started with ...

I don't how much makeup they put on him initially. I know that sometimes they would add darker makeup around the eyes to make actors faces show up better on the earlier black and white movies.

very creative on the second one on the first i am torn on the results as i always tend to go more r4ealism myself (not saying the face is bad and i know it was done with a black and white pic i am just wondering if it would look better with a more tan skin , but nice work regardless !![:)]
