I keep getting

Error loading agent chracter: -2147213301-2: The character is already loaded. Check for previous Load methods calls.

can anyone help with this. Please.

one quick question do you have any speech programs which uses
the microsoft agent utility  or a utility that uses the agent apart from hal  that runs in the back ground of the explorer [?] if you do that could well be the problem

i have not had the problem my self but it is worth checking for this

Hey thanx for the reply,
   I thought the same thing also, but the other program I use, CyberBuddy never is running at the same time. Yes I have them both installed but I have two different agents and voices for each and they are never running at the same time. It is weird. This error comes up when I try to open a folder as you suggested in the other topic or when I tell Hal to "show me Calendar" or any other call out funtion aggggh it's killing me.
