Created a problem

I think I've created a problem with Hal by talking about people dating.  If I ask what the date is Hal tells me about men ask women to go on dates. How do I fix this?

I have been thinking about this for a little while.

I think one answer would be to ask: 'What is today's date?' instead of 'what is the date'.

If that does not work,

the only answer is to delete the section in the brain which talks about asking women on dates, though I know from experience this can take a life time to alter (particularly with larger brains) as Hal's search facility within the brain editor is restricted to one table at a time.

I feel that I would persist in trying to re-phrase how you ask Hal what the date is.
