install on XP

When trying to install hal5 on XP I get a (you are trying to open a (BIN FILE).bin))Then it ask fro a program to open it with.  HOW DO I GET HAL TO INSTALL ON XP. I had no problem on 98..  Any help would be appreiated..

The file you need to open should be an .exe file not .bin.
Locate the file: SETUP.EXE
Double click it to run the install program.

Happens to us all. I'm on the east coast of the US and we're having a rather white brain freeze as we speak!! 10+ inches of snow!
