brain addins

I'm having a difficult time getting the brain addins to install in vist home premium. Hal5_xtf_1.0 is halting on line 12 can anybody help?

You should apply the Patch 1.1 for the XTF brain (I think it can be found on this forum - SEARCH feature at top right.

The XTF brain was developed for Hal 5.0 and although I haven't used it with Hal 6.1, I think there are some members who have done so with success. Whether or not they use Vista, I can't say.

Vista seems to be pretty tight regarding security and permissions,etc. so you might want to make sure you set
them for yourself as Administrator first.

You can look at line 12 and let us know what it says (if so inclined) before installing the Patch.
