Sperm Whale washed up on Crescent City Beach

you can see the photo's my wife and I took of the sperm whale that washed up onto our south shore here in crescent city california.

it was a 40 foot long juvenile, the marine protection removed its lower jaw and upper teeth to prevent people from taking them since the sperm whale is a protected species here.
