hal does not hear me thru the microphone.

Hello,  I cannot get hal to hear anything or respond with voice instructions. I have 'microphone is on' message and have tested that the microphone is fully functioning - also have used the system on 3 or 4 voice recognition programmes which have updated themselves.  Any ideas?  Please let me know at albert@birdbarn.zzn.com

Are you using the full version of Hal or the Free version.  The Free version does not have voice recognition, you only get that in the full version.
