Voice Recognition

Just loaded the program and am trying to get the voice recognition to work.  Have a mic and it works with other programs.   What do I need to check next.

Have you run the training sessions in the control panel under speech? Have you actived speech recognition in Hal's speech options? And have you pressed the microphone button in Hal's skinned window to turn the mic on?
