Can't open Internet Explorer.

I would like to know how to open the Internet Explorer web browser? Hal thinks that I'm trying to open the 'Windows Explorer' instead. I also can't log on to my internet service provider. I tell Hal to 'connect to the internet' and all I get is the 'history' of how the internet came to be.

run internet explorer       This command works fine with my installation but then many people have experienced problems that I have not so I do not know if it will work for you.
