Rob,

Was there any particular reason for omitting the option that
allowed Hal to check for email?

The previous version had the internet options settings, etc.

It would have been a nice feature as the older Hal would actually read the email headers when / as it arrived. Or am I missing something?

I noticed that the learning from a text file option was removed also. I didn't use it much but wondered why it wasn't there.  Actually, I figured alot of people would be wanting that feature but I haven't seen anyone post about it.

I'm working on a plugin to provide that functionality, it will be posted on www.ultrahal.com/files when ready.

Having Ultra Hal be able to check for emails would be fantastic! Looking forward to the plugin
