Help installing custom Haptek Character into Hal 6

Have several Haptek custom characters consisting of an .htr and .jpg file...like bozo.htr and bozo.jpg.  Will not appear as a selectable character under options menu.  Can anyone help me...maybe explain where each file should be placed so that the character can be selected and loaded?

Put both files in the Characters folder.
