how do i backup hal brains?

DO i just copy the file halbrain.db, would that be sufficient?

Saving the halbrain.db will save Table information that was learned.
Backing up your HAL6.uhp and Plugins will also help.

How do i mofify hal database, i want him to open different application or video, or program when ask to do so, how do i program him to do that?

Some of those functions should already exist in HAL6 default brain.

Example:

User: Open Wordpad
HAL: I will open this program for you.

and HAL opens it.

If there's something else you'd like HAL to do then post a mock up
of what you'd like HAL to do.

On the Side.
The ALF Brain that I am designing right now will have some functions to extend what you asked and even close programs just by asking and much more after rigorous testing and feed back.

right now I am trying to determine whether I should keep these special function separate from the Brain and just use them as plugin, I will test it and if I determine that its to much trouble then I'll move them to plugins.

Hi jerry, basicly, i want hal to open flash animation i would have created, stored into a certain folder, is it possible to have a template so that i can modify it after to add more?

i am also trying to get the file that contained the brain for KITT, knigth rider elite, it gives me a file not avail error...
