how dose it work

im new to all of this but building kitt is another story
im going to get kitt as real as i can that means a real cpu
computer system in side the car to act on its own
the programing i would need done for me done on a hard drive
to every know thing to communicating to driving on its own
what i want to know can this be done. if so how much and how to do it. thankyou
