this may be new to some and may not but you can try different voices out just type in a sentence and pick the voice to me for a womens voice agnes and victoria sounded the best they hacve some really crazy sounding ones to so play and enjoy !! [:D]

This program is basically for Mac computers and they really
sound rather awful (I'm being extremely polite here, against
my better judgement).

If interested in TTS voices I'd suggest NeoSpeech, Cepstral or AT&T.
