Installing Upgrade

Do I install the upgrade on top of the older version, or should I delete the older version and then install the upgrade?

You should uninstall first. All data files will remain intact, and anything you taught Hal will be restored when the new version is installed.

If your older version is Ultra Hal Assistant 4.0 or higher (free or advanced) the installation program of Ultra Hal Assistant 4.5 will automatically perform an uninstallation for you if you do not do so yourself beforehand.
