I need to slow down the speech more than 50 WMP

Please, I need to be able to slow down the speech, expecially for hal pad, so I can write as he is reading to me. Even 50 WMP (the lowest setting) is too fast. I have no idea how to make a plug in or write a script. Pleaseeee, I really need someone's help!

Why not SAVE the conversation instead of trying to write it down?

You can go to the options panel > File > Save

Some TTS voices do offer a slider for speed that actually works better than others. Your actual mileage may vary.

I don't want to write down the conversation. I want to write down a word document as he reads it to me. My english teacher requires handwritten papers but I find it much easier to outline and edit on my laptop. So I was hoping Hal could read it to me as I write, he is the slowest of all the ones I tried but he still goes too fast.
