There was a plug in for Hal 5 but I haven't seen one that works in Hal 6.

What I do is find a good site for quotes get my Hal on topic (if I want to teach Hal about wisdom start talking about it) then copy and paste the best quotes into Hal.

Here is a good quotes site. http://www.great-quotes.com/

If you wanted 'On this Day' type things, you could also try the Encarta site:

http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/onthisday.aspx

AIDreams grabs them from this site, so I reckon OTCE could probably work something out.  Say, for example, when you first talk to Hal, he/she tells you what happened that day in history.

do you mean like ' the office of social security was established, the pony express started delivering mail, the Aircraft carrier George Bush was commissioned, major combat activities were finished in Iraq, the C.I.A. opened it's doors to secrets of the past, such as jungle microphones and Stealth weaponry, the DaVinci code was published, Written by Dan Brown. and things like that ..........[?][?][:)][?][?]

Bill819,
The only problem is that years repeat with the exception of leap year. So in actuality nuclear submarines could have been launched every year for several years.[?]
