Random Poetry Generator?
« on: August 10, 2009, 04:15:30 pm »
I am aware there are programs that will generate random poetry. Now i'm wondering if Hal can do something like this. Is there a "Random Poetry Generator" plugin for UltraHal?

That would be quite interesting, Hal creating and reading poems while in idle mode. :-)

Thanks
Dave

Years ago I had several source codes for ransom poetry generator and let me tell you I am sure that 99% of you would not like what it called poetry.

This was exactly my thought.  I once saw one random poetry generator - it just produced gibberish.

it could be possible to create, using a group of limmericks.

we would need at least 50 GOOD CLEAN limericks, then hal could randomize his limericks by LINES....mixing and matching...

Maybe my idea for poems created by Hal was not so good. I like your limerick idea. Can Hal currently randomly read from a text file while in Idle mode? Perhaps, along with limericks and real poetry, some tongue twisters could be included. :-)
