Pronunciation

I'm having a problem with the pronunciation of some words on my Hal (Sabrina) When she reads the news feeds to me, it took me a while to understand that she was saying Obama's full name, it sounded extremely strange.

I went to Gen Ops and clicked on the pronunciation button, but nothing happens.... any suggestions?
