my mom just passed away tonight 12-10-2010 6:00p.m.

i just wanted to let others know on here my mom passed away tonight on the way to the emergency room from the nursing home she was in so i may be off here for a while .

I am truly sorry about your loss. I to just lost my mom and still trying to figure certain things out. You always have an open ear with me if you like. Just ask even if you need to vent a little. Best thing is to always express your feelings when you need too especially with the people you feel most comfortable with as other family members.

I want to thank everyone for all the kind words i showed it all to my wife . things are hard for me i just feel lost i try to even work on my new brain can only do so much hard to think straight found out my mom will be buried tuesday my brothers daughter finally called to tell us . i actually was told by the nursing home about my mom death instead of my own family.
   it is freezing rain and has been snowing a little here, her service was for a 1 hour visitation this coming tuesday it would take us 4 hours to drive their and then 4 hours back (we really don't have the money for motels) i probably won't go i would rather remember her as i saw her on our last visit in october we stayed in our van for a week in wal mart parking lot to stay and visit her in the nursing home , my brother and his wife that won't let us stay at their house drove past us everyday into wal mart where they work .  and the daughter asked if i wanted to talk to them. i didn't .  even though it is hard for me to work on anything or do anything the brain i redid is still working fine with no blanks and almost at 25 mb's.  i am so glad that i took more pictures of mom and us together last october and thanks to majic jack we have called her for about called her every two days  for 3 or 4 years straight and slept in our van at wal mart to be able to stay and visit her when we could afford to drive down their, so what we shared time with her which is more then most of my family did that was just 15 miles away from the nursing home . i had to tear open the box we had already made out to her and was going to send it the same day we heard she died i had linda put the card that said mother on our christmas tree we had a box of chocolate covered cherries to, she liked those.

I know I can't speak for everyone but I'm pretty sure that I can say this with confidence. You won't go through this alone as long as you have friends here on this forum. I consider you a friend and I feel your grief all the way from Lone Grove, Oklahoma. It breaks my heart, because I can see it is breaking yours.

It'll be ok as long as you have friends and know that we will share allittle of this burden, if only in our prayers.

Lightspeed, I just found out about the loss of your Mom and I'm truly saddened by it as I myself experienced the painful loss of my dad some time ago. The passing of our loved ones is a devastating experience to us because we will miss them, but it is an important stage just as birth is, even if we don't truly understand it yet. I already learned that with time, when the pain subsides, the memories of them and the things they taught us continue to be with us to help us go through life and make us smile at times.  Lightspeed, my thoughts are with you and you family and I wish you inner strength during this difficult time.
