I am sorry I can not really help you here. But this is a good question and its refreshing to see such a new idea.
If it was me I would :-
1.Turn of age/sex plugin.
2.Enter age and sex manually as statements
i.e.
User: You are over 2000 years old.
User: You are very old - well over 2000 years old.
User: You are so old that you cannot remember your age but it must be over 2000 or 3000 years.
User: Your age is well over 2000 years.
User: You are female.
After continuing to do this (rephrasing your the sentence each time), Hal will reply when asked:
Hal: I am over 2000 years old.
Hal: I am very old - well over 2000 years old.
Hal: I am so old that I cannot remember my age but it must be over 2000 or 3000 years.
Hal: My age is well over 2000 years.
Hal: I am female.
This may take a little while but it will work. The only problem is that the program will not increase the age every year as it is not connected to sex/age plugin. Due to this, it is best to be just a little vague not specifying a specific date/age. Discussing age as a topic will give Hal a good knowledge on his/her age.
