I use desktopmates characters with Hal on windows 7.  I had to reload everything on thei computer recently and the desktop characters have a solid color background behind them that makes my skins look funny.  How do I get rid of that background?

I'd the desktopmates ages ago, since then switched to Haptek.  The backgrounds are put in Zabaware,Ultra Hal Asst6, characters folder.  Thay are jpeg pictures and end with Back, example, EricaBack which is a set of flowers. Using the set of arrows in the Hal window I can flip through the background until I get to the EricaBack.
  Not sure what is going on in your computer but the Hal program loads the jpegs that end with Back into the background. Look through your jpegs in the character folder.  Ive been able to add pictures taken with a camera by adding Back such as ParkBack.jpg.
