The problem is fixed. Language setting was the cause.

The entries at the appointment book are shown to me as void strings ("-"). So, although I tell Hal something like "I have a date with my girlfriend at 10:00 PM", and Hal recognizes it as a date to remember, he only would say to me this: " . It's in five minutes", or " . It's right now". No further information about the event is displayed, as if it was missing.
I tried to enter manually the events but I got the same result.
It's driving me crazy!!! How is it possible?
Could it be because of my computer working in a spanish language enviroment, where the date formats are different?
Please help
