Ultra Hal 7.0 / Run time error 339

I am getting the above error message and Hal shuts down.

the error reads, "Component ActivehaptekX.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid.

What can I do?  This is the trial version.

I have downloaded the free version; I have Via Voice 10 advanced; can I talk to HAL or do I nee the HAL paid version.  If not how do I get the two programs to connect?
