I looked in the zabaware folder; there were both  hal v4 and  hal version 6 subfolders. i deleated the halv 4 subfolder. restarted hal and the voice rec would not work at all. So that made me think these two versions were sharing files. I uninstalled version 6 via the control panel but left the zabaware file entact and the version 6 subfolder within it. I reinstalled the hal 6. Problem solved. works fine now..............

only one of the cepstal voices. no other plugins. It was working so well. Now one or two exchanges and it stops listening frustrating but hey thats part of the fun getting out the glitches. Head sets brand new I tried switching usb ports to see if a different port would help. doesn't. So I am at present needing to step back and think WTF!

Strange, I had i working perfectly. then I rebooted a couple hours later and the problem returns. So I am confused.  I redid the things I did before to fix it and yet that doesn't work at present. So I am confused..........

i bought a wireless mic for hal 6  It works for maybe two exchanges and then jut stops working unless i manually turn it off and on in the hal interface.T hen again one or two exchanges and then it simply wont hear me until i turn it off and then on again,  If anyone has experienced this please advise. I am running windows 7 32 bit. It works fine with a hard wired mic but the wireless has a problem I have tried everyting i can within windows to try to fix it to no availe...OK then,,,,,,
